Kevvy Sing-Hoi Ng started performing in musicals in 2009, he first starred in South Pacific: The Musical, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: The Musical, Buddy Holly: The Musical and Peter Pan: The Musical. In the same year, Kevvy trained in screen audition technique classes, working with prominent vocal coaches all over Auckland, joining community choirs with prominent NZ Kiwi Actors occasionally and generally gaining a feel for the industry. In 2010, Kevvy debuted his supporting role in Feature Length Short Film 'Kin', which was premiered at The Albany Events Cinemas in Westfield Mall. Kevvy was also invited to join the ensemble of 'The House of Bernada Alba' Professional Theatre Production which ran through a season at The Auckland Performing Arts Centre Te Whare Theatre with Local NZ Actors and Talent. Shortly after, Kevvy attended South Sea's Film & Television School where he trained as an Actor in the Stanislavski, Meisner Technique and physical masking techniques full-time for 8 months before he made the big decision to leave because he had been offered two professional lead roles by top professional NZ producers in professional children's and adults theatre. These involved lead roles in "Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy" - The Theatrical stage show at the age of 18 (Which in the following year performed to the Prince of Wales (Charles), The Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla), and the Dame Lynley Dodd with her agents and associates, in a World Wide Television Broadcasted and Paparazi Event) and "The Bone Feeder" where Kevin spent his 19th birthday mid rehearsal. Television Appearances and Interviews soon followed from WTV World Television Network on several channel on SKY Television and Live appearances on SKY Television during the playing of Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand at the end of the year of 2011. Kevin also made a few appearances and interviews on the popular hit New Zealand TV Show, "Breakfast" aired on TV ONE every morning. The following two years Kevvy was offered a position to further train with infamous legendary acting tutor Michael Saccente, whom was trained by Sanford Meisner at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York at a young age. Kevvy then started to feature in NZ on Air Funded Music Video for NZ Band Sharpie Crows shot by Candlelit Pictures Ltd and also spent a majority of his year supporting the WWF World Wild Life Fund and The Forest and Bird Society Charities all through-out 2012 to show his love and care for animals since a child. In 2013, Kevvy came back to acting after all the training and charity work and was debuted back by being offered a small cameo role as himself as a speed dater on brand new kiwi/asian Web Series 'Flat 3', which was premiered at the Friar's Film Festival in New York later on in the year. Kevvy also trained for 3 months straight and performed his very first Dragon Dance to the current Priminister of New Zealand 'John Key' and his fellow associates, a photo of the event went world wide to the India World Daily News Photograph of the day. Kevin helped out in the brand new Titanium Boyband Music Video - The Soundtrack to Summer - featuring NZ's climbing the charts Electro Duo Jupiter Project, where he spent some of his day on a Yacht with the band. Kevvy made a small appearance in new Television Pilot 'Animals' directed by Outrageous Fortune and Power Rangers Director Peter Salmon and has also featured extensively through the brand new season of Super City on TV 3's Broadcasting Channel Network. At the same time Kevin was offered a role in the smash hit musical Chicago, which performed a near sold out season over 2 weeks in Auckland, where he played a Defense Lawyer for Hunyak the Hungarian Convict. Kevvy also started training and working on a renowned NZ Comedy Talk Show Programme called '7Days' where he was placed in the job responsibility of Assistant Production Manager and suddenly stopped when his arm was snapped in half by his friend in a near career-ending arm wrestling match on an arm wrestling table downstairs of a friend who had worked on the Worldwide Hit TV Show "Spartacus"'s house. This didn't stop him as he debuted in his first feature film A.R.A starring Anthony Ray Parker (From The Matrix Trilogy) and also worked as an additional assistant director and helped with coordinating extra's on/onto the sets/locations for the close to nil budget film. At the same time Kevvy was doing extensive work up the far north of New Zealand at a place called "Hokianga", where he worked with Early Chinese Immigrant Decendants (One of the wealthiest families in NZ importing a Jeans Denim Company from Hong Kong) and helped put their ancestors bones at rest with a story involving the "SS Ventor" Ship, which sunk in 1904 - this story needs to be looked up on google. Shortly after the trip from a Producer referral and audition basis, Kevvy landed a contract on New Zealand's National Radio Station, Radio NZ, where he narrated and played over 7 characters over 2 days time in a 12 episodes recording of the "Award Winning Young Adult Novel - Smashed", by Mandy H Ager, which was produced by Prue Langbein, a producer of The Radio New Zealand Broadcasting House. A few weeks later, Kevvy and a team of "Ninja's" also won The Best Overall Prize and The People's Choice Award with close to 50% of the audiences votes on a voting based system for best 'Song' show of the Short + Sweet Festival of the same year, where he worked with long running Shortland Street Star Gerald Urquhart, whom directed 4 Ninja's into chaotic gangnam frenzy madness, as well as along side well-known producer Yeeyang 'Square' Lee, whom was there the majority of the way and is also one of the 'event organisers'. Kevvy is next booked to play "Ben" again in the Otago Arts Festival 2014 and Auckland Arts Festival 2016 and is also rumoured to be (Details yet to be confirmed) booked for two more Science Fiction Films in 2013 and possibly talks of Capital E Children's Theatre Touring in NZ with The Ninja Musical as well as a brand new devised Webseries (Confidential) and a stint at the NZ Comedy Fest in 2014. Kevvy has also worked as an assistant for several other productions in NZ. Kevvy is always hungry for work and is set to travel Australia extensively in 2015, and plans to take his career and other passions such as music recording and label producing to New York in 2017. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Kevvy Sing-Hoi Ng
